what in the universe are you talking about today?
I've seen Jets fans turn on QB's, head coaches, offensive coordinators and GM's before. But bailing out on Petty this soon might be a Jets fan record in the impatience category.

Who cares!! Whole organization is shit!! WORST TEAM IN 20 YEARS!!
Todd Bowles is a mix between Herm Edwards and Rich Kotite..........

Not even close.
Kotite's 1-15 team blows this team out.
I got Kotite layin -7 1/2 over this team.
Don't forget Keyshawn had the best 1-15 team.
And Herm favored by 10 "Hello....you play to win he game "

I'm not surprised by the conservative game plan. I expected it. This CS still erroneously thinks we have a chance to salvage the season. Run the ball, dink and dunk. Nobody wanted to see that, but you just knew it was coming.
Petty has the choice of who to throw to.Well, yeah sure......But even then they could have at least allowed Petty a few more long balls. He hit his first and missed his second. Especially when the game was on the line, what did the CS have to lose? That is inexcusable. They just never gave Petty a chance to win the game.
I am encouraged by the kid. I thought he showed a lot of balls out there today. The coaching staff did not allow him a chance at winning the game. This loss is 100% on the coaching staff. This was a perfectly winnable game that the coaches saw to us losing.
So I want to go the rest of the season with Bryce as the starter and Hack as his backup. I don't care about losing, I would rather have some sort of QB solution moving forward and how can we ever find that out unless we give the young guys a shot?
I also find it worth mentioning although Bryce just got his first start and I am fine with him learning on the job, he STARED down every single intended receiver today. He does not how to look off a safety. That is going to have to change in order for him to be successful. If he doesn't change that he'll never be any better than Fitz and Geno...........
It was definitely a baby steps game plan.Agree 100% on everything..... But as far as staring down a WR... Honestly, if you aren't throwing the ball past 8 yds there is absolutely no need to move the safety with your eyes. Now I am not saying the kid doesn't need to learn how to do that but with todays game plan it was 5 yd or less routs 85% of the time. 5-10 yds 9% of the time and past 10 yds 6% of the time.. plus he didn't have one attempt in the seam to have to move the safety. The play calling and coaching hurt the offense today and really put more pressure on the kid. I truly believe he was coached to not even look in the middle of the field past 15 yds
Petty has the choice of who to throw to.
