Who cares!! Whole organization is shit!! WORST TEAM IN 20 YEARS!!

Todd Bowles is a mix between Herm Edwards and Rich Kotite..........

Not even close.
Kotite's 1-15 team blows this team out.
I got Kotite layin -7 1/2 over this team.
Don't forget Keyshawn had the best 1-15 team.
And Herm favored by 10 "Hello....you play to win he game "

Those hats were so ugly. I thought so then, and they still look bad. I think they coincided with guys rocking mullets. Just a bad look.

Not a very inspiring performance from Petty but he's young and learning, so I'm very hopeful he will get to where we all want him to be. The problem is, will TB use this BLAH performance from him to bench him for Fitzshitty? They have the bye week to figure it out, but I'm worried this is the route TB will go! Doesn't matter because any QB we have out there, we will get crushed by NE anyway but it would be nice to see Petty or Hack in there leading the team.

Note: I'm also wondering if better play calling from Gailey would have lead to a better performance from Petty and the team and a win?

I am encouraged by the kid. I thought he showed a lot of balls out there today. The coaching staff did not allow him a chance at winning the game. This loss is 100% on the coaching staff. This was a perfectly winnable game that the coaches saw to us losing.

So I want to go the rest of the season with Bryce as the starter and Hack as his backup. I don't care about losing, I would rather have some sort of QB solution moving forward and how can we ever find that out unless we give the young guys a shot?

I also find it worth mentioning although Bryce just got his first start and I am fine with him learning on the job, he STARED down every single intended receiver today. He does not how to look off a safety. That is going to have to change in order for him to be successful. If he doesn't change that he'll never be any better than Fitz and Geno...........

I'm not surprised by the conservative game plan. I expected it. This CS still erroneously thinks we have a chance to salvage the season. Run the ball, dink and dunk. Nobody wanted to see that, but you just knew it was coming.

Well, yeah sure......But even then they could have at least allowed Petty a few more long balls. He hit his first and missed his second. Especially when the game was on the line, what did the CS have to lose? That is inexcusable. They just never gave Petty a chance to win the game.

Petty has the choice of who to throw to.

Petty had a choice of throwing intermediate to deep routes but pulled back because he didn't feel comfortable with the coverage and chose to chuck it to the safety valve, usually it was Powell... He showed a lot of confidence in this game, and as well showed a lot more cautiousness compared to the gun slinger Fizzlesticks...

If I have one critique is that play that the pocket collapsed instead of looking to pass it, he should of tuck it and ran... He had open field in front of him, have to say jitters got the best of him on certain plays... But understand for his first outing he did a very well job commanding the offense...

Special Teams still special...

Defense albeit didn't allow a touchdown allowed too many big plays that gave the Rams chances to score... Again field goals are better than touchdowns but to this team, ugh...

Maybe they pulled the reigns in on the play calling but there were plays to be had, but experience for a first game with good tape is what he needs... Bryce will only improve moving forward...

Agree 100% on everything..... But as far as staring down a WR... Honestly, if you aren't throwing the ball past 8 yds there is absolutely no need to move the safety with your eyes. Now I am not saying the kid doesn't need to learn how to do that but with todays game plan it was 5 yd or less routs 85% of the time. 5-10 yds 9% of the time and past 10 yds 6% of the time.. plus he didn't have one attempt in the seam to have to move the safety. The play calling and coaching hurt the offense today and really put more pressure on the kid. I truly believe he was coached to not even look in the middle of the field past 15 yds

It was definitely a baby steps game plan.
They did not cater game plan to petty s strengths. It's like they dialed up the o for Fitz in Buffalo, then dialed it back, and are still in that rut.

Let's see some 12 yard plays, let's take a shot more often. I hope they change it up in 2 weeks. This way the pats have no film on petty.

IMHO, yesterday's stinker was just another nail in Bowles coffin. To have a guy with Petty's arm and then hand cuff him with an "ultra conservative" GP + play not to lose is beyond comprehension and reality. He must live with Dr Strange in an alternate reality because he clearly is coaching this team like it is playing in another dimension.

I am finished with the sphinx.. I have my pitch fork and torch ready!
