Any interest? I'll be watching, I have 3 daughters that play travel soccer(my son used to, he's in college now) and that started my interest in the sport. I never played as a kid or even thought of playing. Anyways, the next game is this Friday against Sweden.

Watched about half of the game against Australia on Monday night. At least until the hockey game started -- then caught the end between periods.

I will follow it a little bit and if there is nothing else on, I will tune in, but its not exactly must see TV in my mind.

None for mens soccer either where according to a great book I am reading called "The Big Fix", nearly every match at any level for the past 25 years or more is bought and paid for by giant scale gambling operators

If my kids never played, I most likely would have zero interest. In the past 10 years, I really learned to appreciate the game a lot.

Speaking of FIFA fixes...

Did you watch the referee screw Peru with red cards to ensure home team Chile's appearance in the South America cup on Monday.

Maybe they should hire Stephanie McMahon to replace Battery when he is escorted out of the building by the police

I think you're understating the popularity of women's soccer here and around the world. I have no idea of the FIFA involvement in the world cup but I didn't see any unfair advantages in any of the games. Bad calls? yes, but name a team sport that doesn't.

Let's just agree that the next time anyone talks or even thinks about women's soccer will be the Olympics and after that the next WC four years away

I'm around it non-stop with my 3 girls, I'm constantly going to tourney's and games, so I hear about it a lot. But yeah, you won't hear boo about it on ESPN and the like....kinda like hockey(unfortunately).

I was deeply involved in gymnastics when by daughter was training 19 hours a week so I know how you feel

Nobody cares about that sport except once every four years too
