Pryor was a bad pick where the Jets selected him, with that said I think he has a chance to have a break out season. He seems to fit Bowles' "Big Nickel" position to a tee.
Amaro was a good pick where he was taken. Some people had a 1st round grade on him in a very weak TE draft. If he stops dropping balls think he will be a good player. He at least upgrades the position which is OK for a second rounder. Don't think he will ever be a game changer, but will grow into a steady player.
The mid round WR's. not really impressed with any of them. We'll see if one of them can step up. Dozier I was happy to see the Jets take, but was very disappointed he didn't get any reps as bad as the G situation was. I'm hoping he steps up and makes an impact this year. Could happen.
McDougle we'll have to wait and see what happens. He looked OK in early camp, but where he was taken was a bad spot. Had a 5th round grade on him, and hadn't played the year before. Now he hasn't played in 2 years. With all the FA CB's the Jets signed it is going to be a steep uphill battle for him. I wish him luck, but I think he will have to make a big statement. If the Jets draft a CB, he might be on the outside looking in.
IK has some upside. Sure hope Bowles can get some production out of him. Reilly actually surprised me last year. Played ST's very well, and was very steady when he was in on D. Think the guy might be around the league for awhile.
All in all a weak draft. It was the height of incompetence waiting till the 4th round to take a WR, for a WR needy team, in one of the richest WR draft's in memory. Wish the Jets had those 12 draft picks this year.
