He does but he won't share with me yet. He's not 100% sure of the sources reliability. He's been pretty reliable so far though.

The Coon Cat says you can hear the gears turning inside Aaron Rogers' house as he is contemplating how comfortable he would feel playing in a new system that prioritizes pocket passing when he actually prefers operating from the shotgun. It makes it more difficult for him to do the things he is best at which is annualizing the defense and making last second adjustments to compensate for their plan. I can almost hear it too...............grind......clunk............clunk................whirr............clatter...............grind.....................Not that he can't operate under center but he prefers the shotgun. Much as we don't like it, it is unreasonable to give Glenn and Moggy a playoff mandate in their first year, particularly with the cap mess they have been left.

AND I especially agree with the cap mess part of your post. In fact.........to make Bigmoe smile I would point out that the cap situation actually favors keeping Rogers because it's much less of a cap hit to keep him than it is to cut him.
I e seen teams probably the last two decades go from worst to first almost every year .
But for some reason the Jets are excluded from this with built in excuses.

I might be wrong but I think that what Beresford meant was that it would be unfair for management to insist on playoff or else and not that the team has no chance of doing it. That's how I took it anyway but what do I know I'm just a country bumpkin that hangs around with a big cat that likes football.
Yeah, perhaps Jordan Travis comes through as a good QB, the new OL coach puts together some run blocking, Josh Allen gets injured, and we sneak into the playoffs. It could happen.
BTW you DO realise that if we keep Rodgers we are on the hook for $63 million in 2026 whereas if we can him we pay $49 million in 2025?

That's true, but..........Rogers has already agreed to another pay cut and is willing to work with the Jets to help their cap situation.
