Rumor has it that the Jets will be announcing their decision sometime this coming week on their QB position. I believe that if Rogers is willing to take a pay cut, and he previously said he would if he decides to play another season. Is willing to attend OTAs and work within the new system. He will remain the starting QB for another season. If he isn't amenable to these conditions they will go with a different option. So......basically I believe that it will be up to Rogers as to whether he will be a Jet for another season. At any rate it should be known soon.

According to the NFL site a split is likely though not official yet. We knew Rogers held the cards but something apparently came up that they couldn't agree upon. IF I were to venture a guess I'd lean toward the new offensive system interfering with how he plays the game or maybe even the limitations on his showing up when he wants and skipping events that he doesn't want to attend, like OTAs. He has always said he was open to a pay cut so it wasn't about the money. I'm sure we will get the details from both parties soon.
