Cooncat says that if we read between the lines the Jets are waiting on Rogers, who is off playing his second favorite sport while deciding if he wants to play football for another season, to make that decision. The Jets don't need his permission to cut him or to trade him so if they don't want him to be their QB why haven't they already done that ? The finances involved should be reason enough to get the situation settled so that the new GM can figure out the cap before the draft and free agency get here.
