Duke Johnson in the 4th?
He's a 2nd round prospect.
Duke Johnson in the 4th?
ESPN's Adam Schefter and Adam Caplan
report free agent Brian Hoyer will indeed sign with the Texans.
Hoyer had a last-minute flirtation with the Jets, but his best option for playing time was in a system he already knows under Bill O'Brien in Houston, where Hoyer will only have to beat out Ryan Mallett and Tom Savage to start.

Re-signing Bilal was a top priority for #Jets . When Bowles was hired, Powell was one of the 1st players he called to introduce himself to
sounds like this regime will actually use him
Or the kid from Nebraska - Abdullah (sp?)

Couldn't agree more. I could really see Duke Johnson the target with his ability to catch passes out of the backfield. VERY similar player to Spiller except Duke isn't afraid to stick his nose in there. He likes to play football and won't shy from contact in pass pro.

Good riddance I would rather see Mallett or Savage in green and white.

#Jets have expressed interest in LB Jonathan Casillas. Per @PSchrags
Depends what mock you look at. This is a super draft for RB's , one of the best I've ever seen. A lot of mocks have him in the 4th. I'll let you know where he's going in May

but neither are available. in all likelihood, fitzpatrick is the one who hits the street, not mallett (who they are expected to sign) or savage (who they drafted last year).
now i'm fine with fitz as a hold the fort guy and was somewhat indifferent on hoyer. but don't expect hoyer going to the texans to result in one of the younger QBs shaking free.
