If the Eagles offered a package of # 20 pick,Foles QB and Alonzo LB straight up for the # 6 pick do you take it?
If they believed Foles would be a competent QB, I think they'd have to.
According to the value chart, our
#6 is worth 1600 points, and their 20 is worth 850.
If you considered Foles the equivalent of a late 1st round pick (600-700 points) and Kiko a mid-first round pick (1000 points) we'd be getting way more than fair value.
I realize that isn't how it works, and many other factors would come into play (perhaps some I'm not considering). But even if we nabbed 5+ picks from them, we'd still be lucky to get a decent QB and impact LB from the bunch, and we'd still have
#20 to potentially become something special.
No matter what Mariota becomes, it's HIGHLY likely he has more success with Kelly than with us. Ultimately Philly would be spending
#20 , an expendable QB and McCoy for their "dream QB". If that's truly how they view him, I think both sides would have to at least consider it (though I think he got Alonso in the first place because he's also a former player).

He doesn't have Hackenberg's arm and I'll give you Cook was better than Hackenberg's at 18 as I don't think he responded well to the new offense this year, but 17 year old Hackenberg's blew Cook out of the water 2 years ago. I bet Hackenberg's bounces back next year with his better mechanics, arm, and overall talent and blows Cook out of the water, but we'll see.
