It’s easy to obtain a 2nd round pick. Y’all might not like it but I would tag and trade Huff . I think he has maxed out his potential
I would definitely trade Huff. If he had 18 sacks I would say no way, but he has 8 this season. If someone wants him they need to trade him for a 2nd at least.
Neither has played very well this year. I might give Becton one more season to earn his stripes but he has been the cause of too many reverse yards due to penalties this season. Tomlinson however in my opinion should be replaced. He is part of Becton's problems as you stated and the obvious weakest link on the "O" line.
He lived up to his name...............rotten.
And yet he is having a good season for Vegas. McDermott is still in the league and Edoga is starting at left tackle for the Pokes. Kind of makes you wonder if coaching is a factor.
Kinda makes ya wonder. Our OC is a failed HC. Hell Payton brought that Broncos team back to life and our offense is sputtering. Now personnel we release are starting elsewhere. How much evidence is needed? Hackett can't hack it.
Looking at the remaining fixtures if we lose out we will probably finish 8th. Unfortunately the OTs available will either be RTs or projected to kick inside to guard.

I really don't think it's as much a coaching thing as it is a change in environment.

BIG BOARD RANK: 18

5. T AMARIUS MIMS, GEORGIA
BIG BOARD RANK: 23
Take one look at Mims, and the immediate takeaway will be, “They don't make many like this dude.” He has a massive frame, but he's athletic with it, too. His flexibility allows him to get a wide base while keeping his back flat to generate a ton of power and more leverage than one would expect. He's light on experience but will be coveted come draft time.
Keep winning and all may be gone when Jets pick, but let's get to 8-9.
Like I said, after Alt and Fashanu who we have missed, the rest are RTs. Perhaps it was a bad idea to pick a LT whose first name is 'Olay' anyway. I'm now thinking we might as well take the best RT and at least fix one side of the line, but it is possible that JD may waste our pick on trading for another Rodgers buddy, Adams.
With some help we could move up to 4th....
Or drop to the high teen's.

With loses to Clevland and NE and a little help. We will either pick at 6 or 7. The worst I see happening is JD drafts a defensive player. Swaps picks with the Raiders in the Devante Adams trade, Or drafts a WR. With all this happening, all 3 OT are still available.
I know most Jet fans are locked into A mid round pick on a QB and I have to include myself in that group. I haven’t done a ton of work on him yet but I’m beginning to consider a 6 or 7th round pick on Joe Milton and throw him on the practice squad for 2-3 years.
