New album by Liquid Tension Experiment ! LTE3
4 REAL musicians, all virtuosos making polyphonic music, not dance or singing simplicity (homophonic). Looks like a double album with about 2 hours of music.
I haven't been this stoked since Lam Jones was drafted. I hope this works out a bit better.
Thanks But when you have seen the best you forget the rest lolRidgefield Playhouse Announcment:

RESCHEDULED - NEW DATE!
THE MUSICAL BOX PRESENTS A GENESIS EXTRAVAGANZA VOLUME 2
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2021 @ 8PM
IN THE THEATER
For patrons with tickets for the previous date, tickets will be honored for the new date.
The only band ever licensed and supported by Genesis and Peter Gabriel, The Musical Box returns with a new, never performed show featuring the music of classic Genesis albums, including Trespass, Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, A Trick of the Tail, Wind & Wuthering and And Then There Were Three.
Any Rory Gallagher fans? I've been on an RG kick lately. Gone way too soon.
I'm listening to the CSN&Y cover of "Almost Cut My Hair". He's really good! I'll check out more later.Hey WM, if you liked Rory, there's a guy named Davy Knowles who tours doing his catalog and uses a beat up old strat like Gallagher did. Plays the Iridium when he comes to NY.
It's a good show and he is pretty spot on so it makes a fun night, but just not quite as perfect a show as Musical Box does with older Genesis (from TCTGBTGSMB*)

On June 7, King Crimson will be announcing the tour dates (late July-September) from the postponed 2020 tour. I've been holding a couple of costly tix at Forest Hills (haven't been there in decades).
2020 tour lineup had Pat Mastelotto, Jeremy Stacey, Gavin Harrison, Mel Collins, Tony Levin, Jakko Jakszyk and Robert Fripp. I'd be happy with that.
I'm just glad that they are rescheduling before Fripp, Levin and Collins go the the senior living center. This might be our last chance.
John Anderson, in an interview back during Yes' heyday said that the band almost broke up twice after seeing two very dfferent bands that they felt that they could never reach the level of musicality they just experienced, Mahavishnu Orchestra and King Crimson. Considering who Yes is, that's some statement
