I don't want to convict the guy without all the facts, but if its true that HGH was being sent directly to his house under his wife's name, you almost have to be in denial to give him a pass.
People might accept that the HGH was really for his wife, because the fans and media like him and the NFL has a vested interest in protecting his image, but if this report came out about someone they don't like, like Arod or Barry Bonds, there's no way in hell they are getting the benefit of the doubt, not even BEFORE they were officially discovered to have cheated. So in some ways I agree with Bronx, it all depends on who you are. Big Papi for example was directly connected to the MLB report that leaked, his name was on that list too, but you would hardly know it because the media and fans like him, and in Boston he's a beloved icon, and players around the league like and admire him too. So yeah, sometimes it does come down to a popularity contest, and if that be the case here, then Peyton's excuses will be accepted and he'll be given the benefit of the doubt.
