From time to time I pop into this thread just to see if there are any important developments I need to know about, but I haven't contributed much and mostly I'm just speed reading thru the posts, not to be disrespectful or dismissive of the people who want to talk about Petty, but I said before the draft, when I advocated for drafting Petty, that whoever takes him has to know going in that he has a lot to learn and you have to treat his rookie season like a redshirt year, pretty much draft him and then forget about him until 2016, other than the obvious interest his preseason performance will draw if only to see what his physical ability and upside looks like, but other than that, he's a forgotten entity for me unless we have a disappointing season and we want to get him a head start on 2016 down the stretch, but mostly I'm not interested in if he's throwing TD's or INT's in training camp or anything else to do with his development, because I already know he has a long way to go, I knew that even before we drafted him, and yet I still wanted to draft him because I like his ceiling.

Haven't seen Petty or Mariotta or Grayson or Hundley anywhere on anything. The only media attention I've seen has been about Winston in Tampa and Garrapolo in Sucksboro
All the rookie practice reports are in the draft thread. I've posted multiple reports on numerous rookies there. MariOta will be starting week 1.
I read the stuff you post every day. You and 51 both do a great job.
Agreed, I didn't mean to be dismissive of their updates, I love these updates from 55 and 51 and I really appreciate them.
Thank you. We try to cover twitter, espn insider, ny post, ny daily, rotoworld, TOJ, and NewYorkJets.com, and profootball talk. Different pools of information with different perspectives but keeps the site pretty fresh, even in the slow season.
I'd like to thank 51 for all the cool pics and staying on top of Twitter too. That's harder than all the others combined I think.
You two guys do an amazing job keeping the board informed, I don't even have to check twitter and surf the net for information with you two guys around

2. Even split: For most of the session, Fitzpatrick and Petty split the backup reps. Interesting. In the final period, Fitzpatrick presided over a two-minute drill, which ended like most of the two-minute drills -- a "stop" for the defense. Make no mistake, the defense has dominated the minicamp -- the entire offseason, for that matter. Are you shocked by that? Don't be.
