With all that said, if you could guarantee me Duke Johnson is there in round 3 then it's DGB in a heartbeat.
1) Beasley
2) DGB
3) Duke Johnson
Ya, it goes that way and we won the draft. This boy would be doing some cartwheels.
100% agree

A RB is dependent on a good OL.
A WR is dependent on a good QB.
I'm taking Gurley 10 out of 10 times . . .
Indeed it was an I tip my cap to Pdex as well. He really understands the upside to drafting a Great RB compared to a project at WR like DGB. He's right, DGB is a long ways away from truly grasping his responsibilities in an NFL passing game, whereas Gurley can step right in and DOMINATE as a feature back on day one. Not just play, but DOMINATE if he's the back I and many others think he is. Reason being, there is no real learning curve at the RB position and there never has been. NFL history is replete with Great RB's coming into the league and dominating from day one, first because its mostly a react/instinctive position and you either have those skills or you don't, its not something you need to learn or even can learn. As the old saying goes; "Great RB's are born and not made."This was an awesome breakdown ...
What do you think about the devil's advocate side that runningbacks are a dime a dozen, 6'6 230 lbs WRs are a rare breed and redzone nightmare that would seem to be coming into a perfect mentoring opportunity with Decker and Marshall who are also big WRs that likely had to make similar challenging transitions from their college systems to the complexities of NFL offenses?
If its Dorial Green-Beckham (WR) ..... how do we make sure the press does not turn him into the 2015 version of Stephen Hill ....

If Gurley is healthy he can come in and start from day one.
I'd be ecstatic if we chose him with our 2nd pick.
He has a rare combination of speed and power; he is very difficult to tackle and has nice vision.
Will Gurley be having any type of workout/Pro Day before the Draft? I'm curious if he is somewhat healthy enough to show straight line speed before May 1? No cuts or anything like that just straight line speed and a few receiving drills to check out his hands.
He probably won't risk it... kind of forget when injury happened. If he's anything like AP he'll be ready for camp!! Amazing what AP did coming back from that injury!
Gurley didn't participate at the UGA pro day.
He is still rehabbing his knee.
I'm not sure how far along his rehab he has come; athletes (and their agents) can be very secretive about their rehab progress.
He has said he plans to be fully ready to play by July.
I've watched enough Georgia football to know this guy is a beast of a running back.
As I've stated previously if healthy he can carry the load for any NFL team and contribute right away.
I wouldn't draft him in the first round but if available in the second round I'd take him without hesitation.
