Update: Deshaun Watson is as confused as we all are

I would rather have drafted Watson when we had the chance. Its irritating to have to trade all these draft picks and have spent so much on Darnold. And then to pay for a mega contract that he can just ask for a trade when he doesn't like the Jets anymore. Thats a very Jets way to get a QB. Actually the Jets way would be to wait until Watson is 40 years old and then do the deal.

If the Jets get Watson and even get to .500 he will be a star. Playoffs? Holy Shit can you imagine? Wins the Super Bowl? Sainthood anyone? With Watson you can speculate on these things. Nothing I've seen from Sam Darnold makes me even think in those terms
I'm a believe it when I see it type of guy, especially with our beloved Jets. So I'm not too excited over the Watson rumors but He would be one hell of a get. It must be done.

A lot of truth here. Texans were 4-12 with an effective if not great QB in Watson.

if there is an opportunity, guarantee Joe Douglas will be on the phone...

His contract is big, but it's not as burdensome as one might think. When a few other young franchise QBs sign their deals, Watson's deal will be cheap by comparison.
