For a guy that some worried with struggle with the PR portions of the GM job, I have to say of all the recent GMs he seems to me to be the most comfortable and confident GM when addressing fans and the media. So excited about him being our GM.
Agreed. He seems to go with the approach of candid without spilling the beans. He seems to speak directly. His state of the unions will be entertaining.

Speaking of Dennis Byrd being retired, while @ the Rolling Stones concert last week in Raleigh, NC.,, I noticed Dennis Byrd had his # retired @ NC State next to Russell Wilson. I thought Byrd was from Texas.

Yup. Different Dennis Byrd. All American DL for NC State in the 60s. 1st round pick of the Pats in 1968, played 1 season in the AFL before his career ended with knee injury.
Leonard Williams better be smarter than that. Without getting into the "Great Weed Debate", this kid has to come strong from day one. He's a #6 overall pick and an absolute beast of a player. He better be smarter than "Godforshort" regarding the hippie lettuce. You cannot throw away an NFL career because getting stoned was a priority. Get stoned in retirement. Play your balls off for 10 years first. Just my opinion.
