NOT MID SEASON. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that it destroyed morale. I also believe that Rogers is being sold short. We all expected him to be Super Rogers right off the bat. He should also be entitled to time to gel with his "O" line and before anyone says well, he had training camp, it's not the same as actual game play. I would have been happy if he had started out being a little over average and just stayed that way if the "O" line itself had gotten it's act together but it did not. Then when Saleh left the defense went south so we had nothing. So in my mind we are putting too much blame on Rogers. He contributed but was not alone by any means. I would not be surprised if he decides to play another season to see the Jets keep him. Who would they replace him with ?

NO, Saleh didn’t suck as a HC, he just didn’t have a quality QB his first couple of seasons here. Then this year, Aaron just wasn’t Aaron or even close his first 4-5 games here. Woody didn’t give Saleh a chance to mold this thing all together and see where they landed. Sometimes things just takes time to happen, it doesn’t always happen immediately.

Now, I will admit that there record may have not been much better as a result but I doubt SERIOUSLY it would have been 5-12. Let’s say 8-9 or 9-8, is that fair? If that’s fair and that would have been the case. If you’re still saying he should have gotten fired then so be it. But at least he would have had the rest of the year for us to find out and he would have then been legitimately fired!

I can see that but I hope not too! Them drafting a quality QB is probably not a chance unless they find a diamond in the ruff. So I say let Tyrod Taylor start the season out, while Jordan Travis watches and learns and maybe mid-season Travis will be ready the show us something. He should be fully recovered from his injury by now.

It could wind up going just like that. My concern for one is that Tyrod has the injury bug and we haven't the foggiest idea what Travis brings into the equasion. And I can't help but believe that any new GM they hire worth his salt is going to have the same concern.

If I didn’t say it before or if I did, I’ll say it again. Aaron Rodgers stats this year wasn’t bad at all. They were actually pretty damn good (compared to any Jets QB we’re had since Vinny Testerverde). So with that being said, how in the hell did it all fall apart?

For starters, A-Rod stats might have been pretty good but his attitude and demeanor stinks to high heavens. He’s not and never have been a leader and the fact that he’s lost ALOT of his talent, he can’t carry a team anymore. The Jets as a whole fell apart itself. Besides A-Rod performance!

Last year and the year before, the defense was stout and the running game was on point. This year that all fell apart also. Then you have the coaching. You put A-Rod stats on the year before or the past 3 years, team and the Jets win 11-12 games.

So he gave us what he could but it’s time to move on. What a horrible freaking season this was, SMDH!

Well if I'm the Jets I get rid of AR as painlessly as possible. You have Taylor under contract for next year. I would draft Jaxson Dart and have Jordan Travis in the mix. I let Taylor start and have one of the drafted guys replace him mid season. Alot of things would have to fall into place for that too happen but look at the Commanders and Broncos. It can happen.

It depends on Travis's fitness, which we don't know. If Travis is good to go then he is a better PROSPECT than any QB in the current draft. In which case why would you draft another QB and have the problem of hiding Travis and new guy from other teams looking to poach them?

OTOH if Travis is not fit after all this time then perhaps we have to cut bait, in which case we should draft the best guy we can.
