NOT MID SEASON. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that it destroyed morale. I also believe that Rogers is being sold short. We all expected him to be Super Rogers right off the bat. He should also be entitled to time to gel with his "O" line and before anyone says well, he had training camp, it's not the same as actual game play. I would have been happy if he had started out being a little over average and just stayed that way if the "O" line itself had gotten it's act together but it did not. Then when Saleh left the defense went south so we had nothing. So in my mind we are putting too much blame on Rogers. He contributed but was not alone by any means. I would not be surprised if he decides to play another season to see the Jets keep him. Who would they replace him with ?Sounds to me like you’re also saying he should have NEVER fired Saleh. Exactly my thoughts!
